Fast, quiet, and the only class that was already organised before the call.

The first thieves were orphans with nothing, and the guild they built has rules: never steal from the poor, never kill for a purse. Break them and the guildmaster handles it personally. When the seals under Morroc started failing, it was the Assassins Guild — not the crown — that moved first.
